Work hardening and ductility determine feasible reductions, intermediate treatments and the machining allowance left after forming.; Mandrel rollers and release: Compare forward or backward flow direction, roller arrangement, tooling access and part removal. Internal features and long thin walls may govern mandrel design more strongly than outside diameter.; Representative input variation and difficult production cases; Required acceptance evidence: Form representative preforms, map wall thickness and inspect concentricity, length, surface and cracking.
